Fenor

Fenor is a peaceful village and rest stop on the Dungarvan & The Copper Coast Drive. The local church is by Doolin and was built in 1894.

Just over 2km north of the village is Matthewstown Gallery Grave, a national Monument. Also north of the village is Ballyscanlan Forest.

Fenor Bog

Fenor Bog which was formerly a raised bog where turf was cut. Owned by the Irish Peatland Conservation Council it was designated as Waterford's first National Nature Reserve in 2004. The bog contains mainly birds of the open country and bog land. Breeding Snipe, Cuckoo, Stonechat, warblers, Reed Bunting and Barn Owls all occur here. To a lesser extent the Short-eared owl has also been seen here. Birds: Snipe, Cuckoo, Stonechat, warblers, Reed Bunting, Barn owls.

Kilfarrasy

East of Fenor is Kilfarrasy, a secluded coves with attractive sea stacks and tiny islands. This long cliff backed beach has some of the best scenery on the Copper Coast and is safe for swimming with a sandy bottom, ideal for water sports.

The local flock of Chough birds are protected by the Wildlife Act 1976 and the Wildlife (amendment), 2000. Being in the Special Protected Area they are also protected along with the other animals by EC law, namely the Birds Directive. They are listed by Birdwatch Ireland and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds on their priority list.
