Annestown

Waterford CoastlineAnnestown Stream, which runs by this very pretty town is the subject of an ecological conservation programme in the area.

Dunhill Castle can be seen, perched on a cliff above the river, upstream from the village bridge. Nearby, via a spectacular cliff walk, is Dunbrattin Promontory Fort, an Iron Age Fortification.

Annestown Strand, with its sea arch and islands, is an attractive bathing place and is popular with surfers. Near the beach is a castellated lime kiln.

Between Bunmahon and Annestown is Waterford Woodcraft.
Annestown is on the Dungarvan & Copper Coast Drive.
